Why do .filtered files not appear in downloads






















In menu bar is Help button there should be a Togle Console or similar option that will popup a blender console window. If that still not help create some guest acount on Win7 that will be able to install aps and logout to that acount and install blender and try if its able to see in other folders"" - but this is only my advice!!!

I haved some policy issues on my Win7 - that prevent me to open some of my own folders even if i was on my administrator acount. Will blender follow Windows shortcut links? Perhaps this is the problem? The Blender file browser should be tested to be sure it works like the Windows file browser for typical directories, including linked directories shortcuts, junction points, quoted paths, etc. Otherwise, there is a conceptual disconnect between Windows and Blender that needs to be documented clearly right there inside of Blender.

What does this mean? Where do you keep your downloads folder, on your C: drive or a different drive? What kind of drive is this, spinning hard drive or SSD? How much data do you have in your download folder?

For example, my C: drive is my system drive. Although right now my download folder has GB of data, it opens immeadiately because my SSD is super fast. Edit: A direct answer to your question is that maybe you have an old spinning hard drive that is getting full. It might be time to upgrade to a new SSD. I moved Documents, Downloads, Pictures, Music, and Videos inside the OneDrive folder so all my personal files are synchronized on the cloud and are on all of my computers.

I have two Download folders. Other files in my Download folders are installation files for various programs. Never know if I might need or want it. Everything else I download goes into the appropriate folder. When I set up a new machine, I can often bring over the dozens of programs that the old one used; and in some cases I can use the same setup files used in the original machine.

Image backups are pretty big, and sooner or later you run out of space for the old ones…. Eventually you do, yes, but you get to choose how large a window of recoverability you want or need. This may seem simplistic but I have never deleted any downloads. I was never sure what to delete. Any ideas on how to proceed? Some you might keep move to a different folder others you might delete. Most browsers, as lew b noted, most browsers have a setting for where to download files, and even to ask where to download them.

I have the same problem but with my mobile. Recently I download some video files. But one or two days latter they are gone from the chrome. So I upgrade it, but facing the same problem. Comments violating those rules will be removed. Comments that don't add value will be removed, including off-topic or content-free comments, or comments that look even a little bit like spam.

Is there any way I can recover these files utilities, photos, PDF files , or are they gone forever?
