This type of practice opens up a door that I'd rather we not go down charging for drivers. See folks, a company like NeatTech isn't in the hardware business. They are in the crappy software business. As such, simply going to the PlusTek website[2] and downloading the M12 drivers will result in your device working properly in any flavor of Windows you like. And let this serve as a warning to any other company stupid enough to try this.

Charging for upgrades to software is fine. But when someone buys hardware from you, you shouldn't be charging just to make the darn thing work.
